Ok.....as per instruction of the many here, we got a small to go with the large. Why did I do that? So I can take it with me on the many trips. As a matter of fact I am trying to get all the info I need so I can do a cook this weekend. I need to cook indirect and will need a woo2 from Tom at eggaccessories. What all will I need to go with that...I am thinking a drip pan and do I need the spider? I didn't get a placesetter with the egg...if that makes a difference.
Thanks
Rick

I have the L/S combo as well. I have the platesetter for the small but have only used it twice. I normally use the small for grilling and the large for slow cooks. Most cooks on my small are at normal grid level, for no other reason than I dont have a method of "raised direct" which I actually prefer.

Like Celtic Wolf said get Chubby's Grate Mates. I have the small plate setter and the Grate Mates but the Grate Mates come with standoffs that put your cooking grid at or above the felt line. When doing either a low and slo or a normal grill these are a invaluable addition to the small egg.
