Roof vents. They work great and are cheap at the big box stores.

Yup, got it at the BORG. I don't remember what size it is but I measured my top and picked up something just a little bigger.

The storms are gone and the egg held right at 250. B)

I bought mine at Ace Hardware. Chef Charles showed us a picture of his yesterday. I looked at Lowes and Home Depot but they didn't have anything 7" or bigger in our area.

The one I got is adjustable the metal over laps around the daisy wheel and you can secure it with rivets or screws. It was less than $20.00.

Hope that helps. Everyone has been so generous with their knowledge maybe this can help somebody.

The umbrella helped hold my temps during the rain hopefully this will work too.

BORG - Big Orange Retail Giant (home depot)

The cap does not seem to effect temperature one bit.
  • Did you make the vent or did you buy it like this?
