Does anyone have any suggestion for cooking fresh side pork? This is kind of a funny story. Our daughter wanted to go halves on a pig that someone from her work raises. So we agreed. We ordered some bacon and some ham along with chops, etc. She put a ham in the crockpot and went off to work and called her husband later and asked how the ham was. He said "It tastes like pork!" She said, "What you mean it tastes like pork?" They argued back and forth on the phone. Well, too make a long story short, she thought the ham and bacon came off the pig as ham and bacon! Does anyone have any suggestions?
