I'm sure this has been discussed in length...I am having an extremely difficult time locating tile/stones to fit into my newly constructed table. When buying tile at HD or Lowe's, the tiles are not true 18x18 tiles...I am looking for tiles/granite/slate that is approximately 17 5/8 x 17 5/8. I have taken back about 5 pieces of tile. Any suggestions were I can get good looking stone. Any recommendations for stone to go both under the egg and on the countertop? Yes, I have read Naked Whiz's post on the firebricks, etc. Thanks for any replies.

The rest is the grout line.
May not make such a beast in our standard building supply. -
Call a company that installs tile and they will cut them for you.

Have a granite countertop fabricator make you these out or 2 or 3cm scrap they have from a sink cutout.
