This was posted on another BBQ site, but is interesting!!

Couple articles came out after last week's D.C. BBQ Battle. One in Newsweek interviews Myron Mixon and the other in the Washington Times has quotes from Carolyn Wells and Brett Brown a.k.a. The Virginian. Neither article gets it all right. Sure is hard to explain our sport to people who have preconceived ideas about what barbecue is and what competition is all about. Still nice to see KCBS and MIM getting good press.

great to see a bbq write-up even when it misses the mark. What happened to your avatar? My kids LOL when they see it but now it doesn't show-up when you post- at least on my laptop.
