Pizza with pulled pork topping

I made a pizza tonight with pulled pork, onions and mild yellow banana peppers. It was goooood. That pulled pork is fantastic stuff, I'll be doing that again. Even if I don't get any sleep for a night it's worth it.

Wow Frank--Looks good. I think left over pulled pork works with just about anything--pizza, ABTs, tacos, stuffed peppers, quessideas (?) and the list goes on.

Yeah, we had a little more than enough cheese and when my wife saw that I wasn't going to use all of it she said aren't you going to use it all? So I just dumped the rest on. We like a lot of cheese and this was a lot of cheese. It was really good though.

that same thing happened to me a couple of weekends ago when i was making boat eggs in the 15" skillet. i was piling on the cheese out of a 2 pound bag of shredded cheese and they said 'are you gonna put ALL that on?"
i just dumped it all on there!

your pizza looks great. i usually put the pulled pork on the top to get a little browning on it

PP on top, good idea, I'll try that soon. As I've
mentioned on here before, Pizza is about our favorite cook on the BGE. This PP may just bump pizza out of first place though.

pulled pork pizza combines my two favorite cooks on the egg. i like to keep some frozen food saver bags of pulled pork just for pizza and abt's

with the pork on top of the cheese, it soaks up some more smokey flavor along with the cheese for a double whammy of smokey goodness. try some pig candy on a pizza sometime, if you can keep it around long enuf. ha!

That looks great! How many pounds of cheese did you use? It looks like the mozzarella stacked great.

FF or RTD, what kind of sauce do you use for PP pizza? Tomato or BBQ? I have some PP leftover from this weekend and from those pictures I think I know what I want to use it on! Great looking pizzas!

I use Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce. I can find it at Kroger most of the time.
