Does the lifting tool you can buy work well for the cast iron grate, that things tuff to get out if you got it sitting on the fire ring and you can forget it if its hot. Any comments or suggestions of what to use instead?

This is what I use to lift all my grates.It works great.I hear Thirdeye makes some also.He is much easier to find

Thanks Doug and Bill, I saw the picture of yours and remembered I have a lid lifter for my dutch ovens, so I went and got it and what do you know it fits. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
