catfish recipe

How about a recipe for catfish filets on the bge? and what equipment do I need to flip with and also how to keep it from sticking to grill? Thanks, Ray

    I just did some catfish filets a couple of weeks ago. I marinaded mine in some lemon-butter-garlic marinade, then dusted with Tony Cacheres cajun seasoning. Cooked on a fish/veggie grid direct at 350 for about 4 minutes per side. I just used two spatulas to carefully flip them. And we also threw in some alder chips for smoking.

    Babyray,[p]Usually do catfish as follows:[p]Lime on one side, Lemon juice on the other.[p]Tony Chacerie's liberally applied.[p]Into fish basket (easy to flip)[p]350° for about 7 minutes per side, then check for flakeyness (sp?)[p]Good Eatin' to ya[p]Cajun
