I just received my new BBQ Guru and was wondering what everyone used for a hose to go from the fan down to the adapter. It looks like about a 1.5 inch O.D. Also where is the best place to run the probe wires, under the lid? Is that hard on the wires with all that weight. I thought about routing them down through the top?
Thanks,

The fan goes directly into the adapter. You don't need a hose. The wires just go between the dome and base. The Naked Whiz -
The fan plugs directly into the adapter and the gasket will cushion the wires. -RP

I bought one of these as well. Great item though its really just insurance for overnight cooks as the egg is great at keeping them temps.
I wonder what is that hook on top of the fan for? -
You can attach the Competitor unit to it if you want to:

Just be sure and not kink the wires. They run under the lid no problem.
