I am really having fun with KennyG’s Large BGE.[p]Last night I fired up Mr. Big in turbo mode. CharWoody’s combination ceramic and expanded metal charcoal grate set the temperature sky high in no time at all.[p]I threw on a Sirloin Steak that was coated in Original Char Crust. The thermometer had lapsed back to the 50-degree mark, so it was HOT. I cooked the steak for three minutes per side and a three-minute rest. Right before the rest period, I threw on a skewer of Fresh Mushrooms. After I took the steak off, I left the mushrooms sit for about another three minutes.[p]The steak was a little overdone for my taste, but the wife and kids loved it. The mushrooms were a little underdone, but I like them that way. [p]I really want to bake something while I have the large. It will be either French Bread or Pizza.[p]Good Eats,

RhumAndJerk,[p]From your posts, I can see that Humpty hasn't eaten this well for a long time. I'm afraid that he won't want to come home when his vacation is over. Tell him that we miss him![p]K~G

KennyG,[p]It sounds like you'll be borrowing R&Js egg soon :-). I think a couple may still be available from the EggFest2000. [p]Spin

Hey, that's right R&J! I'll have my truck along if you want me to pick one up for you at the fest. I know you have a wedding on Eggfest day, but after the wedding, and everything settles down, you can make a trip out here, have some dinner, stay the night, and take that big bad humpty home in the mornin'. Whaddya think?? 450 bucks loaded![p]NB

    Nature Boy,
Tempting. However, I may wait until Eggtoberfest. If for some reason, all the promo eggs do not sell maybe we could work something out.[p]After cooking on Mr. Big, I really really really want one now. All good things are worth waiting for. If it works out that I get a demo egg, great. If not, then I will bide my time[p]RhumAndJerk[p]

Since I have Mr. Big with all of his accomplices, I think that I may “spin” me some pizzas.[p]RhumAndJerk
