Saw a post a few weeks back on burgers cooked with cheese and onions. These were sprinkled with a little DP Cow Lick, covered with blue cheese and then a slice of vidalia onion. I wish I could remember who posted this to thank them. They were good. Also cooked a few hot dogs and a pound of Conecuh Sausage (if you have never had this, you need to try it).

I hope to have enough left for lunch tomorrow, but it is going fast :P

Thanks again to who ever posted the burger idea!

i think the original credit goes to CWM ;)

    Beef, Burger, Onion, Lawn Ranger

1 Just 300-350 direct. Cook until your desired doneness. Don't push the patties down, you are squeezing out the best part.
2 Also, try 1lb ground chuck, 1 package Hidden Valley Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix. Mix that stuff together and cook.

I thought it was Car Wash Mike, but was not sure. I can imagine a lot of different potential combinations.

Thanks for helping me give credit to CWM.

What kind of Conecuh did you cook. The cajun is my favorite.

It's a brand name. Here is their home page.

I cooked the hickory smoked. I have had the cajun and prefer it or the spicy and hot, but it is too much for the kids.

    Thanks

Mike in Abita already posted the link, but here it is again. Concecuh sausage is made in Evergreen, Alabama (Conecuh County) It started out as a local brand, by if you check the store locator link on their website, it is now sold all over the southeast.

It's about 90 miles north of me. If you think the sausage is good, you should try their bacon.
