Did my first AZRP chicken tonight and it was a hit with the family. Veggies were cut up red taters, broccoli, califlower, shrooms, green beans, yellow squash and onion. Seasoned with fresh rosemary, tyme and Cavender's greek seasoning.

On the BGE at 350 dome.

90 minutes later.

Foiled with sauce. for 30 minutes.

Finished veggies.

The veggies were good eggcept the green beans were tough. Will not do them this way again. Chicken was melt in your mouth tender with a good little kick.
Thanks AZRP!

Glad you liked it, that shot of the finished chicken on the grid is awesome. -RP

Nice looking crust on the bird.

Good stuff, isn't it? I've done it 3 times now and I love it.
  • Thanks, AZRP. Looking at that pic its plain to see its time to clean the daisy wheel!

AZRP's chicken seems to be all the rage now sort of like the shrimp. Got to try soon. Fresh green beans are hard to cook with other "soft" vegs. Almost have to precook or start 45 min earler as hard to over cook them.
