Got home from a day of customer golf late and decided to cookup some spicy Italian sausage for dinner while I prep'd a couple of 5 lb butts for my first overnight cook since I got my DigiQ!!..man I LOVE this thing..locked in at 225 pit temp like a pointin bird dog!!..sorry bout the focus..my hand is NOT as steady as the DigiQ!...


Prep'd one of these using Elder's Butt Rub and one using a combo of Byron's Butt Rub and DP Swamp Venom..expectin some good eatin late Saturday!! :woohoo:


While I got the butts started...cooked up some Italian sausage w/onions and peppers on the small since we hadn't had dinner..yummmm...!!

The butts look great, ET, but those links have my mouth watering. Looks like something I got at a Detroit Tigers game 25 years ago...best damn thing I've ever had to eat at a baseball game.

Looks good. Demo day tomorrow and probably 27 holes on Sunday. Should get home early enough on Sunday to put something on for the family.

Yeah rain here tomorrow so doin the butts and some apple baked beans n mac n cheese.. 18 holes Sunday..gonna make some gumbo in the DO...

Everything looks fantastic as always! Can't wait to see pics of your butt, err um, that didn't sound right but I guess in eggland I can get away with that :laugh: .
The only problem I had with my guru was it seemed to burn out the center of the lump abit but later talked to some folks and decided it was due to only lighting my fire in the center -vs- several spots. All turned out great and love the guru!
