Hello all, my new egg came assmbled but without the shelves installed. Anyone have any helpful hints to get this task done painlessly?

Thanks in advance!

use wire ties to keep your bands in place (together)...

it is really a pretty painless procedure anyway but if you put the wire ties at the back where the hinge is, remove the dome, remove the bands, put the bolts through the proper spot, put bands back on, tighten the bottom, replace the dome, thighten the bolts remove the wire ties, install egg mates it sounds long but that is it in a nut shell. here is a pic of the last time i had mine disassembeled

notice 4 wire ties at the back.. don't know why i used 4 but i did...

It took me about five minutes to install my mates.
As above post stated, secure hinge with plastic things that came with BGE or use nylon ties.
Remove lower band bolt (the bent large one by the hinge) flex band away from egg, install bolts and tighten band!! No need to remove dome this way, worked great for me!
