On a medium size egg, how much difference is there in grate temp. to the temp.reading ? I think it is around 30*F at a reading of say 350*F. Thanks .

I find the medium is much like the large.

When the egg isfirst firing up I see about 40° difference. When food or fixtures like the plate setter is put in the egg again the dome to grate temp will again be fairly large.

Once the egg is well up to temp and the food is getting about 60% done the difference on my eggs will drop to about 15° to 20°.
