First try, first sucess! We were impatiently waiting for the Egg to get up to the 550 degrees recommended on the DVD, so I just threw them onto a preheated pizza stone at 400 degrees. Worked like a charm. I tried some with and without brushed olive oil, and found that the tortillas browned much nicer with the olive oil.
They were stuffed with shredded cheese, pulled pork (with a little added rub too), tomatos, and some other random veggies. Next time we'll add more rub or some salt. We topped them with salsa and they reminded us of our college days in Tucson.

Those look great! 2 or 3 and a couple of adult beverages would be a great finish to my evening, do you deliver? LOLLarge BGE and a couple non-greenies

Next time...for a twist...try Brie cheese and diced up mangos. Yummmm. I also don't use the stone...I only use one tortilla, folded in half , direct. It makes it a lot easier to flip on the fold. Also..the grid marks are pretty. Try the mango/peach salsa to top.

I think you just motivated me try that for my next cook. Thanks!

Sounds like a great idea to go direct. What temp. and how long on each side for cook time?

just until you get nice grid marks....and the cheese gets melted....I usually set the cheese and mangos out a little before cook to get the chill off. Also, let them sit for a few minutes after taking off....or else all the good cheese runs out. ALSO...not sure where you are....but don't buy the really good thin tortillas...they tend to fall apart when flipping. Just buy the thicker ones.

That looks good! Really good!
