Tritip Teaser

<p />Tom was curious about this "left coast" cut of meat called tri tip. Originaly made famous in Santa Maria California, it translates nicely to the Egg.[p]I've got a whole bunch of pics from my latest tri tip cook, but that nasty encumberence called "work" forces me to put off the whole photo essay thing until later this evening.[p]In the meantime here's a quick shot of the middle of the cook.[p]Have fun,

maybe im mistaken but i thought tri tips were smaller. those look huge.

Those are definately tri tips. They were a good size, but I've seen bigger.[p]We ate through most of those puppies with only four adults! Granted, one is on low/no carbs for health reasons and she did a good chunk of the damage by skipping my secret sausage rice.[p]bc[p]
