has any one smoked hot sausage b 4 ? :evil:


  • I usually cook them in beer in a dutch oven and sear them at the end for a crispy finish...

    In the pic below I mixed w/brats...

    I cook hot sausage a lot. It is jalapeno cheese sausage. I cook it indirect with a platesetter and drip pan. I cook them at 350 until the sausage is 175-180.internal temp.

    I do them indirect as the cheese can leak out of the link sausage. Indirect the sausage does not get as hot so it does not leak hot.

    These make great sausage dogs..... :silly:
