Going to attempt some Pig Candy Saturday (weather permitting). I am sure someone has some heads up advice so that I will be successful. Lets hear it gang.

Make sure you use some type of tray with a drip pan underneath so the bacon drips in the pan not the fire. I like to add Tony Chacheres Cajun Seasoning to my brown sugar mixture to give the pig candy some zip.
When the pig candy is done put it on a plate or platter (not any type of paper product as it will stick). Give it a couple of minutes to cool and eat up....everyone will love it.

This should help, no paper to dry on, it sticks.

Best advice I can give you is...make twice as many as you originally planned. They don't last long. You got kids? If so, maybe 3 or 4 times as many.

I used a pizza pan last week. Guess I forgot how much grease you get from bacon. Took awhile to burn the grease off. But the candy was great.
