What temp is "med-high" heat?

I am doing some salmon burgers that I want to do on the egg. They are supposed to be cooked on the stove-top over med-high heat. I plan to use a cast-iron skillet, olive oil and a dome temp of 475. Does that sound ok?

    on a gasser, 350. on an egg, 550!

    ok. baking/roasting? somewhere around 375-400
