toomsdpt,
you can get them at any of the big box stores IE; home depot, lowes, walmart, and some large chain supermarkets.

Here's a few I came across. I haven't ordered from anyone so I can relay any first hand experience.

Just come on over to Oklahoma. After last months ice storm, we have been left with hickory and oak all over the place....free for the taking in most areas

toomsdpt,
then if it will be more satisfying you can go to a local lumber company and buy furniture grade to cut up. i don't see where that is going to taste any different though.......

I've used SantaClara Valley Smoking woods before with good results!
Smitty..(who posted below)is a great guy, an avid Egger, and will treat you right!
He has a wide selection of more exotic woods...(not just the usual 2 or 3), and they are nicely sized for Egging.
You won't regret dealing with Smitty at Santa Clara Valley Smoking Woods.
I don't know how to post a link on this new site yet...bit check his post to yow... below!
