Stuffed Bell Peppers

Any ideas? I'am thinking maybe rice, gr. chuck, onions, some rotell tomatos. I'am open to any suggestions. Will do five or six indrect on a raised grid. Temp????. Thanks in advance. miles out.

I did some peppers with Italian sausage, chopped mushrooms, and colby cheddar cheese. I'm doing the Atkins diet so had to skip the rice. These were very good, might even do them again tonight. -RP

I stuff mine with Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage, usually add garliic and onion, although I leave the rice out and make it on the side to put the peppers over, then spoon the pan juices on top. Try a couple of stuffed tomatoes as well, just cut off tops and remove the insides, you will be glad that you did! I do mine indirect at 375 - 400, usually takes about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs depending on pepper size, stuffing levels, thermometer accuracy, etc.

these were done with left over turkey in the food processor with onion, garlic, green onion, sour cream, hot sauce and corn with paprika and tomatoe slice on top they were yummy

Well i've seen laying and standing. Laying seems the best so laying it will be. Omit the rice use more cheese,crispy bacon , onions, more cheese, some rotel mild toms. some pushitto??? and other goodies as i find them. THANKS to all, have a super WOOSDAY. miles out.
