Adjustable Rig & Spider

I don't remember seeing this anywhere but it is a real nice indirect raised setup.
I used the spider upside down on the fire ring then put the tvj adjustable rig on the fire ring.
I used a 15" ss deep dish pizza pan for a drip pan and then the BGE grid on top of the adjustable rig.
This is a real nice setup for most low and slow meats and faster cooking with spatchcock chicken and other meats.

I have the rig and spider set and agree that it's the best for versatility. But why do you invert the spider?
