On windy days, I am haiving problems getting to cooking temperatures. What do I need to adjust the opening to get higher temps?

I've had stabilization problems with windy conditions (esp. variable winds), but never problems getting up to temperature. Are you sure it's not your lump? I've had problems if my lump is too small, clogging my air intake holes.
