How to change # of days?

Obviously I can change the number of days to display forum postings from the default of 3 to, say, 1 but then how do I make it take effect? There doesn't seem to be anything to click on so that the change is effectuated.
I would like for just 1 day of postings to be displayed instead of 3 days.

Jeffy, Bingo! That was easy enough.
I wonder why the default is 3. This probably bogs down an already slow system.
If any moderators are looking in, I recommend changing the default to 1 day being displayed.
