1/1/3 Bonless Pork Chops

jl_hand
<p />I tried using the 1/1/3 steak method on boneless porkchops for dinner last night. The chops were 3/4" thick and rubbed with lemon pepper salt. Got the BGE to 700 degrees.... layed the chops on the grill for one minute... flipped for one more minute..... closed all vents, and flipped again... let them stew for four minutes to get them cooked all the way. Served with a tossed saled and roasted (BGE) vegetables....... What a way to live!!

  • Jeremiah 1775,[p]Sounds great... BTW.. did you brine them ?[p]If you have not tried a hour or two brine on your chops yet... you are in for a treat if you like juicy chops ! [p]Happy Egging ... BB

  • BB,[p]Nope, not this time..... was in a bit of a hurry. I'll try it next time.

Jeremiah1775,[p]Those do look good. I'm surprised they cooked completely that fast...6 minute chops...not bad! [p]FYI, Yahoo wouldn't let me see the picture from the BGE site. I had to click properties on the broken image, and paste the URL into my browser.[p]Personally, I use www.photo.net to post pictures I'd like others to see here. This site doesn't have the same restrictions that Yahoo! has.[p]--sdb
