East Cobb Eggy

To all,[p]I have just checked my configuration and can use the BGE feet under my pan. However, they have to be upside down (meaning the green facing the fire). [p]Does anyone think that this will cause any problems??[p]Thanks,
Greg

East Cobb Eggy,[p]Seems like they might be a little more tippy but should not be a problem.

Morro Bay Rich,[p]My main concern is the green paint on the ceramic feet.[p]Do you see any problems with these being so close to the flames?[p]Thanks,
Greg

East Cobb Eggy,[p]That won't be a problem but I think there's an easier way . . . Just take some foil and scrunch it up into a long cylinder. A couple of those under the pan will be much more stable than the green feet - they'll mush down if you hit them too hard but will still keep the pan up enough. I've found the green feet are hard to place and hard to keep in place if you move the roasting pan at all.

East Cobb Eggy,[p]I've used them a number of times and the green paint is still intact.
