Looks to me we've got us a bunch 'a poets
And we didn't even know it,
That is 'til Tropical Rick came along,
Singing aloud his poetic song.
Then soon followed our own Fidel
With his version of show and tell,
There was TRex of good steak fame
Who used a one-liner to say the same.
No doubt there will soon be more,
Who's words will open yet another door.
And we can all laugh with grin and glee
At what rhyming words can do the thee...[p]Spring "Too Early To Tell" Chicken

Rick's Tropical Delight,
I scrolled down and found,
I must be part bloodhound.
(pathetic, I know)

Fidel,[p]If I could only cook like that
I would probably expect to get paid[p]I'd dawn my apron and my special chef's hat
and when Mama comes home I could get full.[p]Good looking food, guys.

makes for wonderful chow,
regardless of how that you slice it.[p]In foul weather or fair,
I prefer my steak rare,
though not picky in how that I spice it.[p]On the Egg or campfire,
it's the meat I desire,
and my mind and my stomach both lust it.[p]But the older I get
my gallbladders regrets,
no matter how much my mouth likes it.[p]Henry Wadsworth Lawnfellow[p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p]

Hey Leroy! I see wrong words in mine, too. I really only have one gallbladder,... although it often feels like 3 or 4.[p]The gall of me for saying such a thing![p]BuddyLawn

Lawn Ranger,
You're forgiven, but only because of your one gallbladder. Hopefully, I'll be forgiven because I only have one brain.[p]Spring "I kneed Mo Skool'n" Chicken

That's a great looking steak. Happy holidays to you and your family. Tom

Lawn Ranger,[p]Great photos![p]Pretty fortunate as it would appear that your HEB has prime whereas the one (literally) in my backyard has never carried anything above select. They do, however, have a large ethnic selection of other stuff - it is like the UN on steroids (unless you play baseball)in there.[p]Looks good.

DynaGreaseball,[p]Hey, that doesn't rhime!

thirdeye,[p]Who would of thought?[p]Limericks - The History
Variants of the form of poetry referred to as Limerick poems can be traced back to the fourteenth century English history. Limericks were used in Nursery Rhymes and other poems for children. But as limericks were short, relatively easy to compose and bawdy or sexual in nature they were often repeated by beggars or the working classes in the British pubs and taverns of the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventh centuries. The poets who created these limericks were therefore often drunkards! Limericks were also referred to as dirty.[p]Where does the term 'Limerick' come from?
The word derives from the Irish town of Limerick. Apparently a pub song or tavern chorus based on the refrain "Will you come up to Limerick?" where, of course, such bawdy songs or 'Limericks' were sung.
