Nobody remembered to rub/marinade boneless breasts that had defrosted.
Wife let them swim in herbed white vinegar and olio d' oliva...got the long-winded phone call-I get home and dust them with lemon pepper, thyme and just a dash of paprika for color--both sides. Fired the large up, and threw slightly damp leftover pieces of hickory(!) on, about 7 minutes a side, and let 'em dwell for about 4 minutes.
Came out great---but then again, it's an Egg, eh? (temps never hit 300 but the half-load of leftover lump was blazing by the first flip).
Always moist........never any leftovers!! Gotta love it!
