Smoking a pork loin

I know that most people cook pork loin at 350, but
have any of you smoked one? My neighbor has a 6-pound
loin that she wants me to smoke for her. I'm doing a
brisket tonight, so I figured I'd put the loin on tomorrow
at lunchtime, then take it off when it's at 140F.[p]Comments?

I smoke mine between 225-250. Apple or Cherry Wood.[p]Mike

I do it at about 275 with hickory. It works well.

i do pork loin at 300 with apple,cherry,or maple.very jucie and a nice smoke ring.

Thanks for the feedback. What's your time
estimates? From what I can find, I'm thinking
1/2 per pound (3 hours for a 6 lb loin).[p]Sound reasonable?

Depends on which of our temps you follow (250/275/300). I'm guessing that it will take the full 6 hours at 250 and only 3.5 at 300. But I'd do it by temp and pull at 145-150. It will still be pretty pink in the middle. Some like to pull at 140 but I like pork to be a little firmer.
