<p />so after driving 8.5 hours home today, i decided i better get something to cook and i whisk through the local grocery and pick up a few things...[p]sir frances drake is up and smoking within 20 minutes of my return home on the island... martha and mario (my other two eggs) stare in amazement and sir drake's bold initial introduction.[p]this acorn squash had a mild jamaican jerk dry rub sprinkled on it and a tablespoon of butter in each half and a light dusting of cinnamon. [p]the asparagus tips had s&p and a pat of butter and they were incredible and dare i say healthy![p]the pork roast had dizzy pig red eye express and apple chips for smoke. it didn't suck. *huge grin* (and now you know what that looks like!)[p]sirfrancesdrake1st-005.jpg[p]about 1:30 at 300 for the roast and squash, about 20 minutes for the asparagus[p]welcome home sir frances drake!

  • BENTE,
the skewers are just to hold it together because that wasn't one solid hunk of pork, but a bonelss, sirloin roast.[p]plus i like the way the skewers look! AND you don't get yer hands all porky puting it on the egg cause the skewers make good handles

    Rick's Tropical Delight,
I do not know what you are driving, and it might not make a differenct, but I just went through a vibration around 65 mph and it turned out that it was a wheel weight missing. It just reared it's ugly head when I got it up to about 65 or so. Just thought I would throw that out there for you incase you might be due for a rotation/balance.
