sorry, i was out all day and just now checked the forum. .. . how did your prime rib turn out?. .. . sure hope, like haggis said, that you didn't go 1/2 hour per pound. . . . usually only takes about 15 minutes per pound to hit medium rare in the center ... .let us know how it turns out. .. . next time email me a day or two in advance of a big cook like this and i'll gladly give you my "hot line" number and you can call me ... . [p]contraray to what my loving daughter may think, i don't actually live on the forum 24 hours per day :)
