Beast,[p]You have to register. I have added the link to register. It is $35.00 unless you are cooking and sharing your food with the Guest.

BBQsmoker,
it states: Registration for the Meet and Greet will be $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple and registration is required. The registration fee is waived for those cooking on Saturday, but they must be registered to attend.[p]Registration for EGGtoberfest will be $35.00 per person or $50.00 per couple and there is no charge for children under 18. The registration fee will be waived for those attendees who are cooking (for everyone’s enjoyment) their own specialties—which they provide at their own expense.
can someone explain the difference between the two are you able to sample any of the cooks at the meet & greet or only at the Eggtoberfest?

Beast, the Friday night event is just a big party. It is catered and none of the EGGers are cooking. There is plenty of food and if this year improves over last year like last year did over the previous year, we'll have champagne and caviar for openers and it will get even better after that, Saturday is the MAIN EVENT. Hundreds of EGGers will be preparing all types of food and you can wander around just sampling a bit of this and a bit of that and chatting with the cook. And somewhere around 1:00 you'll feel full and you'll wonder "How can this be? I've only had small bites of stuff." And then you will realize for the first time that hundreds of small bites equate to a lot of food. You will leave full of food, full of information and full of energy to go back and try something different on your own egg.
