AJ's Birthday dinner

Last night I made dinner for a dear friend of mine and I thought I'd share some photo's with you. AJ likes to add her own twist to ABT's. Instead of Jalepaneo she uses Hungarian wax (I think) and mixes pork sausage, cream cheese & some tabasco peppers for the filling.

Since I got the egg I love to cook for anyone, anytime. This was my first time with both eggs, XL & Med and I was in heaven. Still working on the pictures so thanks for the encouragement.

It looks like you've got down the whole thing, food and pics. It wont be long you'll add another egg to the "duo". My wife is actually encouraging me to purchase another egg. And being the good husband that I am.... I have family that live in Altoona;how far are you from there?

I live in Lancaster, pretty close actually. I keep telling people I only need 3 more for the whole set!

I really wanted to but I didn't plan very good. I checked out airfare yesterday, wow! Then I thought I might drive and mapquest said it is a 12 hour trip. I checked out the recommended Hotel and they are booked solid. Definately next year. How about you, are you making the trip?

Woodbutcher, wow! everything looks great. i love asparagus. will have to try that soon. i use an xl right now too. i am hoping to add a medium before winter (making the table for it now). how long did you cook the asparagus and crab legs and at what dome temp?

About 70 miles away..not too bad of a drive. Go to clarkhoward.com and look under his travel tips..alot of good airfare usually!

The temp was 325 and they were on about 15 minutes. The XL and Medium is a great combo. Make sure you post some photo's of your table!
