I just received this recipe from Bill Samuels at Maker's Mark:[p]I hope everyone's having a great summer so far. We recently received a recipe from one of our intrepid Ambassadors for a Maker's Mark Milkshake. This would be a perfect way to top off a summer barbeque:[p]2 parts Maker's Mark bourbon
2-3 scoops of your favorite vanilla ice cream
1 dose of caramel syrup[p]Whip this up in the blender like you would any other milkshake and enjoy! The consensus around the office is that a few well placed chocolate pieces might be a nice touch too.

J Appledog, my wife would go through a couple of quarts a weekend witha drink like that. She loves Maker's Mark and tolerates ice cream reasonable well.

BYC,[p]Meant to post my bourbon comment here. Used to think it was hard to find good bourbon someone turned me onto MM about 12 years ago. However, I've found that most all Kentucky bourbons far exceed those from any other states. While costly I have grown especially fond of Woodford Reserve and Jefferson's, which are both true KY Bourbons..

Did you know that bourbon cannot be called bourbon unless it's made in Kentucky? Kind of like champagne....
