A couple of months ago I started doing this. Everyone may already be doing it and I'm just a slow learner.[p]Ever notice when you have to flip 8 burgers, or turn 40 wings, that the fire excellerates (sp)? I started closing the bottom vent about 30 econds before I flip. Works like a champ. I did 30 wings over last weekend that I flipped every 10 minutes for 40 minutes. No flare ups, no change in temp when I put my temperature ring back on.[p]Really works great! Just don't forget to open the bottom vent after you close the top. Doh!!!!!!![p]Done that.[p]Mick
