How many butts can you fit on a LG BGE without extension?

Friend of mine is going to smoke some boston butts for the 4th of July and needs to know how many 6-8 lb butts he can put on his LG egg without having the extension? I am thinking 4 or 5, but wanted some other opinions. Thanks![p]RR

RiverRat, unless you're piling them up on top of each other, 3. You might get 4 small ones but that might inhibit air flow. What size butts does he have? They range I find at Sams is roughly +/- 6 to 8+ lbs.
