I have previously asked for help separating my top and base section of my Egg due to excessive temperature. Thanks again for all the suggestions. After trying a few, I discovered an easy way to accomplish my task. I discovered that there is an air vent that you can access through the open bottom vent. If you lay down and look up into the egg you will fine the hole in the fire box. I simple bought a small propane torch and aimed it at the hole. I had a working fire inside my egg in short time. This dislodged the cover at about 400 degrees. I must install a new gasket, which was expected, but I'm happpy to know I can get back to some awesome meals. Thanks again to all and I hope this helps to anyone who runs into Stuck Egg Syndrom..[p]Tom [p]
