Crawfish Pizza

This past Saturday we entered into a Crawfish Cook-off benefiting the Hospice Foundation of the South in Slidell Louisiana. So instead of just boiling crawfish we brought our Egg and made crawfish pizza to hand out. We made the crust on Friday and Egged each one for about 5 minutes and then put them together on Saturday at the cook-off and Egged again for another 5 minutes. They came out GREAT! We ended up doing 21 pizzas (would have been 22 but I dropped one of them off the peel). It was a great day with beautiful weather and the foundation made a ton of money. Plus…we got 2nd place for boiled crawfish out of 50 entries, not bad for our first attempt. Maybe it was the pizzas!
