<p />Decided to brave the elements and cook in the rain. I knew the BGE wouldn't mind, I just had to get wet and my daughter wanted to go outside in her rain coat.[p]We had Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Lipton Onion Burgers with a little pecan spice rub blended in. Everything took 10min a side at 300°. Getting the temp just right was a little tricky but nothing I won't get better at. Chicken came out very moist and the burgers didn't shrink to nothing. Used very little lump.[p]Tomorrow night it's Pittsburg steaks, tuesday it's roasted chicken and wednesday we try to do pizza. Can't wait![p]Mark

    Turkey,
That's the spirit! Can't let a little of the wet stuff keep you from the egg! I'm lucky...the porch off my bedroom creates about an 8' "overhang" above my living room deck... unless it's real windy, I can que in any weather. Just did some baby back ribs....I think I'm getting the hang of this egg-cooking... best yet <G>

    Turkey,
Nice work! and great picture. We have twin girls (6 years), and MAN do they love their raincoats. And love to help daddy mix up the marinades and pastes.[p]Looks like you are working on quite a setup there.

    Turkey,
Wait till the snowy weather comes. Now, THAT's cookin'! I've enjoyed the last two Christmas mornings (since I got my Egg) outside with a coat on over my bathrobe lighting lump and looking for signs of Santa's visit.
    Cheers and happy Egging.
