    Rick's Tropical Delight,
As cold as it is there I can understand the peanuts.

  • ronbeaux, what is the rub or marinate on the wings?
    They look great.

    gary Haley,
It's a dry rub I mix up. Start with the basic rubs(sorta) listed on the recipe section, and add to it. These were brined in a mixture of water, salt, molasses powder, and Tobasco first.

<p />ronbeaux,[p]I brined 36 drumsticks yesterday and smoked them for 3-1/2 hours today. They just came off the cooker.[p]dsc01581aL.jpg[p]~thirdeye~[p]

  • ronbeaux,
Looks yummy! A really easy but tastey dip to make is to spread an 8oz thing of cream cheese in the bottom of a shallow casserole or pyrex dish, pour a jar of corn black bean salsa on top of that, then top with shredded cheddar cheese. Warm it all up in the oven (or microwave) until the cheese is melted. You can serve it with tortilla chips but I prefer it with the big scoop corn chips.[p]Gwen[p]

  • thirdeye,
    Check out the fancy presentation![p]Gwen

  • Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]LOL[p]I know exactly how you feel. I'm always looking at all these yummy photos and then we're eating cereal for dinner or something. So many nights I tell myself I'm gonna fire up the egg but it's just so darn cold, I can't bring myself to go outside. And dark. I have no lights out there yet.[p]Gwen

bonnie,[p]Thanks for the recipe. That dip is a keeper. I just finished off the very small amount of leftovers we had.
