Pulled Pork
Options
Hey Evertone,[p]I recently purchased a large BGE. What a great purchase. I'm up to trying to cook pulled pork this weekend. I don't have the plate setter and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on using the plate setter vs. not using it or different ideas. I was going to put the pork on a rack in a shallow pan and let it go. Any good recipe links would be great too.[p]Thanks for the feedback.[p]John

John B.,[p]The plate setter works better, but I've used a terracotta planter base before. Works like a charm till it cracks, usually after a couple cooks. They are inexpensive and can be found in your very own backyard. I would still use the drip pan, with a liquid in it and also with the v-rack. I've done it this way a couple of times when I didn't have a platesetter.[p]-Jill
