I got a platesetter for my large BGE. The ? is....when I look @ the pics posted here, lots of folks use it legs up no grid just v-rack and meat? I had been putting mine legs up, drip pan on it, then grill grate w/meat on top of that. Is this unusual?

Metalhead,[p]I do the same as you. I think most of the talk you hear this week about cooking turkeys have without a grid to allow for the added turkey height.[p]-Smitty
