Celtic Wolf Two Birds On The Egg

Heya Wolf,[p]If I'm going to cook two birds on the Egg at one time, say two large hens..........any suggestions on cooking time and placement etc? I've only done one at a time so far.[p]

bbqdiva,[p] Unless you have an XL I wouldn't even attempt it. The XL should hold two SMALL birds side by side. I am going to pick up a small bird on my way home tonight for my test run. I'll see if I can get two in my XL.[p]

you can easily stand 5 chickens (in the 4 pound range) on beer cans in a large egg. . .i've seen picks of even more than that crammed in there. ..if you are doing spatchcocked birds, i think you can easly lay two of those on the grid together ...more if you use a grid extender ...[p]i do four beer can birds at time quite often ...

mad max beyond eggdome,[p] One should specify which bird they are referring too.. The everyday chicken, the Thanksgiving Turkey or the Christmas Goose. [p] My XL will hold a Bazillion Game Hens..
