After taking the meatloaf off the egg last night I really did not want to put out a perfectly stable and warmed up egg. [p]I grabbed a frozen sausage roll out of the freezer with the intention of thawing it out and egging it. But once I got it unwrapped and it sat on a plate for about 5 minutes I wondered how it would come out if I cooked it while it was still frozen. Well it worked perfectly. I coated it in some spin and jammed a probe into its frozen center and put it on the egg at 300 indirect. [p]Once the probe read 170 I pulled it off and it was a thing of beauty. It held its original shape and the little piece we tried was great. Wish now I had gotten picture before slicing and freezing. Oh well next time.

JackGT,
you know I wish I had timed it. I would guess hour and half to 2 hours. But I was at 300 indirect as well.
