eggaholic, for a Large I have egged 3 birds over the years in the 24 to 25.5 pound range. Not sure about the capacity of an XLBGE.

i've done up to 24lb bird, with room to spare ...just make sure you do the test fit to see what you need to do to get it in there .. .don't want any surprises on turkey day

eggaholic,[p]I've done a 30# bird on my large!! It only took 3.5 hours.....and I'm NOT PUJLLING AND BODY PARTS.....3.5 HOURS! Paul
