    Ray,
Gretl's recipe is worth doing. Even though the recipe is for filets, her time/temps should work fine with your steaks. Good stuff.

  • Oh Ray, forgot to mention that if you use her temp of 350, make sure the drip pan is full of water. Else use lower temps. Her times are for 3-4 pound filets.

Ray,[p]the best quick and dirty recipie is to marinate the filet in Italian dressing (not creamy italian!) for about 1/2 hour. Then I like to take alder chips (or a mild wood) and soak them in white wine for about an hour. Cook the salmon about 350 for about 20 minutes and you should be good to go.

Ray,[p]I like, in this order. A little olive oil, light brown sugar, pepper, lemon pepper, garlic.[p]Dec
