Drip pan for brisket

Got my Egg cleaned and filled for an overnight brisket cook 8.5#. do most of you use liquid in drip pan or dry is my Q? I have a full load of RO with hickory chunks. Planning on starting this evening for overnite to take for a bbq at work at noon.

61 CHEV,[p]I've done it both ways and really do not notice a difference either way. The times that I do add liquid I used beef broth and apple juice. To me it's more of a mental thing that it might taste better..

I use apple juice in mine but have family who use apple cider vinegar? I think it's really a personal choice.
