First batch of jerky this year

Well, the weather is about right for football, cold beverages and... yep, jerky. This is about 2.5lbs of top round (they call it London Broil here in Atlanta) that I let marinate for 2 days.

    Do you slice that yourself, or have a butcher do it? It looks very nice.

    The nice folks at Publix have always been happy to slice up roasts for me. Saves a LOT of work and comes out much neater than I could do.
