Does anyone know the estimated time/lb. for a pork loin? I am cooking on Sunday and was wondering about time. Thanks.

    Larry McSass,
You don't give enough details on the meat and cook temp. I cook mine at about 400/425 to an internal temp of 150. it is very important not to over cook. They will dry out very quickly above 155 internal. Depending on size ( thicknes ) it should take 1 hour or less. Good luck, Tom

  • Larry McSass,
Not sure about the time per lb. I cook pork loins between 275 and 300 with a good dose of smoke. As I recollect, a 4 pounder takes about 2.5 hours to get to 150 internal.
